The renowned Nigerian star Ric Hassani who is in Rwanda to headline Fantasy Music Concert has released a remix of ‘My Only Baby’ with Mike Kayihura, a fast rising artiste taking Kigali by storm. Having released songs like Tuza, Zuba, Jaribu, ‘Anytime’ among many others, it is no surprise that Mike is topping the charts in Rwanda. The remixed song first appeared on Ric Hassani’s track list of his performance this Saturday at Kigali Convention Centre, and has now dropped on all music platforms. Through his Twitter handle, Ric Hassani said that Mike’ voice is incredible and noted that his track is one of many others they are going to collaborate on. Since he landed in Kigali, Ric Hassani has expressed his love for the city and the country in general. “Rwanda is so beautiful,” he tweeted. According to Mike Kayihura, this act is a big step to his music career which he started not long ago. “Any one that loves music knows how big Ric Hassani is. To me, it is a dream that is coming true. I’m very honoured to be on this project and I can’t wait to make more tunes with him,” he said. Both artistes will headline Fantasy Music Concert, a show organised by one of the best music bands in Rwanda, Symphony. The event will also see other artistes such as Nel Ngabo and Confy, perform live this Saturday. It is one of many concerts that are going to be organised regularly by Symphony Band, starting from this year’s edition which will kick off this Saturday.
