Inside Rwanda’s space ambitions

Paula Ingabire, the Minister for ICT and Innovation, lifts a prototype of RwaSat-1, the countryu2019s first cube-satellite, that  was built by three Rwandan engineers in collaboration with a team from Tokyo University. Rwandau2019s ambition to launch two satellite constellations in the next three years has further highlighted the countryu2019s plan to become a hub for the African space industry.
