Death is defined as the action or fact of dying or being killed; the end of the life of a person or organism. However, many believe that the essential part of an individual, the soul, continues to live after death. It is sometimes complicated to understand where our souls go after life ends. According to Revelation 21:1, “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea”, so if there will be a new heaven and earth then life will continue for the ones who fulfilled God’s will. However, Allah has made this worldly life a test and preparation ground for the afterlife. I also believe that everyone will be gifted according to his/her good deeds on earth.
