Amavubi skipper Djihad Bizimana will play in the 2024/25 Europa League with FC Kryvbas after cementing a third-place finish in the Ukrainian Premier League. The final round of matches of the league campaign will see Kryvbas facing Dynamo Kyiv and Minai and it bears no relevance to Kryvbas' position as they are six points clear of fourth placed Dnipro with 9 goals above the same opponent's goal difference. Kryvbas have 54 points against Dnipro's 48. ALSO READ: Bizimana on target again in Ukrainian league Bizimana has enjoyed a debut season at Kryvbas. He has been the kingpin in the heart of their midfield playing 27 games from which he scored twice and provided one assist. He becomes the first Rwandan player to feature in the competition since it was changed to Europa League in 2009. Bizimana has previously played for Rayon Sports and APR FC in Rwanda as well as Waasland Beveren and KMSK Deinze in Belgium.
