The Kirehe District-sponsored side host Marines at Nyakarambi grounds Wednesday. Sogonya’s are languishing in 15th place with 20 points, three points behind 14th-placed Gicumbi and five above of bottom side Amagaju. The club that has never been relegated their 2016 promotion from second division league. “We can still beat relegation. We are in a bad situation, but we will fight to stay up,” said Sogonya who guided AS Kigali (formerly Les Citadins) to the 2001 Peace Cup glory. Strugglers Kirehe fight for the pivotal three points without suspended Benjamin Ndagijimana, while Marines will miss the services of midfielder Irshad Nsengiyumva, both due to three accumulative yellow cards. “We still have 18 points to play for and that’s where our survival lies.
