Digging trenches across the country to have good drainage is one step forward and covering them is yet another aspect. However, I suggest we cover them to avoid losing life in these uncovered trenches. The covers can also reduce on the smell coming from the trenches which pollute the neighbourhoods. The covers are a life saver to the poor children creeping beside them from becoming accident victims. So, there should be a well planned trench system to drain the hills with covers. Kicukiro
