RDF briefs defence attachés on local, regional security dynamics

The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) on Wednesday, March 27, hosted thirty defence attachés and associates accredited to Rwanda for its quarterly security briefing at the headquarters in Kimihurura. The briefing centred around new changes in laws governing the RDF and structure, the internal and external security situation as well as updates on RDF operations in Mozambique and the Central African Republic (CAR), according to a statement by the RDF. Karuretwa thanked the defence attachés for their growing participation and emphasized the importance of conducting security briefings to further enhance the defence cooperation and mutual understanding. The participants had the opportunity to ask questions and clarifications mainly focusing on regional security dynamics.
