The army side won the first two quarters,31-19 and 20-19, to take control of the game early before halftime. Tigers, who were hosting the game at Lycée de Kigali Gymnasium, returned to the second half pushing to win the third quarter in an attempt to cause an upset on the Mazen Trakh’s side but the champions were too strong from all departments to break. The visitors took the third quarter 25-19 and the fourth 30—13 to register their fifth victory in a row.
