Upcoming singer Trizzie 96 and his long-time collaborator producer Dizo Last, have announced plans to pursue music as a duo. The development was announced by Angelo Jawanza, the duo’s manager, in an exclusive interview with Weekender on Thursday, September 29. The decision to make music as a duo, according to Jawanza, was triggered by how both musicians continue to mesh perfectly together and how their joint projects sound different. “Producer Dizo and Trizzie are two musicians who always make history when they come together. The decision of merging their talent is a big move that could uplift their capacities and put them on another level. Trust me, they are going to change the game,” said Jawanza. Asked how the duo will operate, Jawanza noted that Dizo will keep making beats and producing while Trizzie will focus on vocals. “This is the first music duo of an artiste and producer in the Rwandan music industry. We made this to call more musicians to jump on it and promote home grown producers,” he added. According to their management, Dizo and Trizzie are set to drop their first joint project on October 14. Some of the duo’s hits include ‘Menya Izawe’, ‘Ruganzu Muri Baleciaga’, ‘Niza so’ and many others.
