Singer Ciney drops new single

We last saw her on the music scene nearly one year ago, but she has now returned with a bang. Ciney, real name Aisha Uwimana, an afro hip-hop singer, has dropped another single dubbed ‘Impeta’ (Wedding Ring) “I have so much love for my fans and I know they have been requesting me to do more music. This new track is dedicated to all the people who love music in general’ VIDEO: Impeta By Ciney(Official Audio 2016) ‘This is a song about married people whereby after getting the ring on, they forget about the promises they made. Let’s always remember what we promised that special day.” she explained to The New Times. The 24-year-old singer revealed that this is the beginning of her comeback and refuted claims she had quit the music industry. ‘It’s true many people thought that I stopped doing music but the truth is that music is part of me, it’s my passion, but needs commitment. I had taken a leave from the industry due to school’ Ciney, is currently pursuing a degree in procurement and contract management at Jomo Kenyatta University. According to Ciney, the Impeta audio track that was released yesterday by producer Bernard in Incredible Records will be followed by a video soon. She is commonly known for songs like Ndabaga, High school, Nkunda, Ndiho, Ngwino Nkwereke which featured rapper Lil P, and Game of Love, among others.
