Vision FC continued their top form on Saturday, December 30, with a convincing 3-0 victory over former top-flight side Gicumbi FC in an electrifying second division league match held at Mumena Stadium. Striker Rashid Mutebi doubled the lead for Vision FC in the 38th minute to take the game in control before half time. But the 2-0 lead didn’t stop the team from attacking looking to increase their goal difference in the second half. Ibrahim Nshyimiyimana piled more misery on Gicumbi after netting the third goal in the 72nd minute to cement a win for his side. With the victory, Vision FC extended their lead at the summit of Group B table with 24 points, four points clear of second placed AS Muhanga who beat Interforce FC 1-0 at Muhanga stadium.
