Shaggy set to rock Kigali Ladies and gents spring higher! Our scouts have gathered that star singer Shaggy will jet into Kigali to rock with his Rwandan fans. The World renowned musician Orville Richard Burrell, better known as Shaggy will be in Kigali in a fort night. Shaggy better known for international hits like ‘Wild Tonight’, ‘Strength of a woman’, ‘Angel’, ‘Hey Sexy Lady’, and ‘Bombastic’ among others, is expected to perform in Kigali. Shaggy will be visiting the country for the first time. Meanwhile, we hear the dancehall king has held several concerts in Kampala, first in 1998, then 2003 and recently when he was on a world tour. The Mr. Lover Man, who was born in a ghetto in downtown Jamaica to a mother who was a journalist, moved to the US during his early life. He is still single and searching. So, girls, warm-up and don’t shy away! It might be your chance to marry a famous world celebrity. Rafiki’s to launch video We have heard that up coming musician Rafiki Mazimpaka of the Choga Style fame is set to release his debut video album, early next month. The video titled ‘Igikosi,’ contains 14 tracks, including his favourite hit ‘Igikobwa’, a dedication to his dream wife. The much awaited video album comes at a time when Rafiki has gained fame in not only Rwanda’s music industry, but beyond boarders. The two time Pam Awards winner has released two albums and two singles, which include: ‘1, 2, 3’, Kigali’s current hottest hit among others. It’s rumoured, the 25-year-old singer also famous for his song ‘Igikosi’, will be performing at Serena on December,7, during the launch of Miss Jojo’s new album ‘Genesis’ and on 14, at the Petite Stade.
