BK records Rwf22m turnover

Bank of Kigali counter recorded a total turnover of Rwf22.2 million from 79,300 shares traded in four deals, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report indicates. The bank traded and closed at Rwf280, unchanged from the previous session on Friday. The Bralirwa and Crystal Telecom counters were quiet yesterday, so were all the cross-listed firms – Equity Bank, Nation Media Group, KCB and Uchumi Supermarkets. Bralirwa closed at Rwf283, and Crystal Telecom at Rwf125. The brewer recorded a total turnover of Rwf283,000 from 1,000 shares during the Friday trading session. Equity closed at Rwf334, KCB was at Rwf370. There were no transactions recorded on the Nation Media Group and Uchumi counters. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 190,300 Bank of Kigali shares at between Rwf290 and Rwf305 and bids for 100,100 shares ranging from Rwf275-Rwf280. The Bralirwa counter received offers of 893,700 shares at between Rwf280 and Rwf311 and no bids. KCB received an outstanding offer of 600 shares at Rwf333, but there were no buyers. On the Crystal Telecom counter, there were outstanding offers of 576,300 shares at between Rwf125 and Rwf137 and no bids. On the RSE bond market, there was an outstanding offer of Rwf7.1 million worth of bonds at between Rwf101 and Rwf105, but there were no buyers.
