Ugandan shot stopper Simon Tamale reveals he struggled to adapt to early life at Rayon Sports because he lacked of trust from former head coach Zelfani Yamen. Tamale signed a one-year deal with the Blues in June after an impeccable season with former club Maroons where he was the Uganda Premier League goalkeeper of the 2022/23 season. However, the goalkeeper had a slow start to the season and he lost his starting role between the posts as Zelfani opted to start either Bonheur Hategekimana or a fit Adolphe Hakizimana in favor of the Ugandan.
