Campus and the Jay Z/Solange saga

Everyone knows about the Jay Z/ Solange saga but a day after the video went viral, the story I got at my university was totally different. There is this one guy who told the story like he was in that elevator when superstar Beyonce’s baby sister showed her brother-in-law, hip-hop mogul, Jay Z just how pissed off she gets. “It started like this,” he started his story. “Solange entered the elevator and found Jay Z there. Then she said if she didn’t beat him then, she wouldn’t get another chance. Then she beat him up and they fought for like 30 minutes. Now that video you people are watching doesn’t capture the whole thing. You will miss a lot.” Then I asked myself how this dude got to see the parts that everyone missed. When I asked him where he got the footage he saw, this was his response. “You guys don’t know. For us we always get first hand information that everyone else gets later.” As if that wasn’t enough, I went to class and found another zillion versions of the story. With all this confusion, I decided to go online and watch the video myself. These people described something that happened for barely a minute in 40 minutes! The funny part of it is that the video they talked about apparently had audio in it – hence the words they claimed were exchanged between the two. Now that I knew the story, no one would give me their version anymore. Comfortable and thinking I finally had the truth, I found someone who swore he knew why Jay Z was ‘Bruce Leed’. I listened to him for about an hour - found him quite funny actually. Unfortunately for him, the original sense of humour I thought he had was blown away the second I logged onto Twitter and found all the madness there. #WhatJayZSaidtoSolange has now taken over #BringBackOurGirls and it doesn’t look like it is fading anytime soon, well, perhaps till Kim Kardashian’s younger sister Khloe goes karate kid on Kanye West too! Watch out!
