Don’t rely on international community for protection – Jewish rabbi

On the 20th anniversary of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, there was a vigil where Shmuley Boteach, an American Orthodox rabbi and author, gave a moving tribute to the country. In an exclusive interview with The New Times’ Collins Mwai last week, he goes through several comparisons and similarities between the Rwandan Genocide against the Tutsi and the Jewish Holocaust and lessons we can draw from them.
