APR striker Yves Mugunga could sign a lasting contract with Kiyovu as talks are underway

Kiyovu Sports are interested in signing APR striker Yves Mugunga on a permanent deal.

Mugunga was put on loan by the club in the ongoing transfer window but Kiyovu want him to make his move permanent.

Times Sport understands that the gangling attacker has one year left on his existing APR contract and the club would be open to release him on a permanent deal if Kiyovu tables a reasonable offer.

Until he lost his starting berth in the team during the 2022/23 season, Mugunga was APR's first choice striker and has been vibrant in their CAF Champions League campaign scoring goals against Etoile du Sahel and US Monastir.

Talks between Kiyovu, APR and the striker are reportedly at an advanced stage and he could sign the contract within this week.
