Players abroad: Bizimana’s form continues as Rushenguziminega hits double

Rwandan attacker Quentin Rushenguziminega netted twice as FC Echallens beat Pully 4-2.

It was a fair weekend for Rwandan players plying their trade abroad as striker Rushenguziminega stole the show in the Swiss Classic Liga with a brace for FC Echallens while Amavubi skipper Djihad Bizimana was also in fine form for FK Kryvbas in Ukraine as they won again in match day two of the Premier League.

Ukraine

In the Ukrainian Premier League, Amavubi skipper Djihad Bizimana was superb in central midfield where he spent 65 minutes of action before making way for Klym Prykhodko as his side Kryvbas beat LNZ Cherkasy 2-0 at the Shakhty Zhovtneva Stadium on Saturday.

Sweden

Yannick Mukunzi played full throttle and Lague Byiringiro came on for Jan Vikgren in the 61st minute as Ettan league leaders Sandviken IF thrashed Sylvia 3-0 on Sunday.

Elsewhere at the Vismo Arena in Vaxjo, Rafael York played all 90 minutes as Gefle IF defeated Oster 2-0. York's junior brother Rafael Torre was not in the Gefle match day squad.

Elsewhere, central midfielder Gilbert Ishimwe featured for IFK Eskilstuna who lost 2-1 to Smedby in the Sodra Svealand Division 2.

Switzerland

FC Echallens skipper Quentin Rushenguziminega netted a brace in the 19th and 64th minute as his side beat Pully 4-2 in the Classic League. It was the Rwanda international's third goal in two games this season.

Also in the third tier, teenager Espoir Niyo Nsanzineza was in action for Rapperswil-Jona who beat Bruhl 2-0.

Norway

Ange Mutsinzi saw 90 minutes of action at the Nordmore Stadium on Sunday as FK Jerv were beaten 3-1 by Kristiansund.

Goalkeeper Clement Twizere Buhake was in post for Strommen IF who drew 1-1 with Stroemsgodset B.

Midfielder Emmanuel Baru Gisa was not in the IF Fram Larvik team which beat Ground 1-0.

Slovenia

Dylan Georges Maes played 79 minutes for NK Tolmin before being replaced by Matic Perse as his side lost 3-1 to Beltinci in the Slovenian second tier.

South Africa

Goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari was an unused substitute for TS Galaxy who were held to a goalless draw with Chippa United.
