The national men roll ball team endured a worst possible debut appearance in the 2013 World Roll Ball Cup which climaxed yesterday in Nairobi, Kenya.

The team started with a disappointing 12-0 loss to hosts Kenya on Thursday; lost again to champions Denmark 5-1 before narrowly going down 5-4 against United Arab Emirates. By press time, the Rwanda team was due to play Malaysia, Uganda, Iran, India and Tanzania. Roll ball is a game of handball played on skates using a basketball. This is the second edition of the World Cup with the first edition having been held in India last year.
