APR Vs Patriots 9pm

After working on major roster reinforcements, APR and Patriots face off on Friday night at Lycee de Kigali gymnasium, in what promises to be a tightly-contested duel between the two Rwandan basketball powerhouses.

The venue could turn into a full house for one of the fixtures that basketball fans are anticipating to witness in big numbers as the second round of the league is winding up, making way for the playoffs.

The Patriots added some fresh blood after adding three key players in their roster including South Sudanese-Lebanese center Ater Majok, Jean Victor Mukama, a Canadian-Rwandan forward, and American guard Michael Dixon.

APR has also introduced a couple of new faces including British-Rwandan Center Prince Ibeh, American guard De Marcus Holland and Rwandan forward Robbeyns Williams.

The trio was part of the team that beat Rwanda Energy Group (REG) 73-63 on Wednesday to secure a crucial result that pushed the military side to the summit of the table.

APR will be looking to avenge against the Patriots who beat them 67-60 during the first round of the league.

Currently, APR is leading the table with 38 points and tied on points with the Patriots who sit third as they record an inferior point difference.
