AS Kigali head coach, Andrew Gasambungo has told Saturday Sport that he wants his side AS Kigali to develop the culture of winning trophies.The City of Kigali side won the Peace Cup against Malaria last season after beating fellow national league rivals AS Muhanga 3-0 in the final and the inaugural Super Cup title after shocking league champions Rayon Sports final 1-0."We want to make sure that this team continues winning trophies consistently and for me this is just the start of something we are building here.The target is to be among the top teams in the country, we want to continue winning and make it a culture for AS Kigali,” the former SEC Academy coach said on Thursday."We have good team, which we will continue to build it to make it even better in the coming season, As Kigali is made up mainly of motivated young talented players, and we will continue to motivate them in order to get the very best out of them,” he stated.Rwanda’s representative in next year’s Caf Confederation Cup will start their league campaign against Amagaju on September 28 at Stade de Kigali, Nyamirambo.The 2013 Peace Cup title win was the second major piece of silverware in AS Kigali’s history following success in the same competition at the beginning of this century.
