Men: The naggers, whiners and actual sissies!

Originally, I thought it was some of the people I hang with that are sissies. However, when I took a closer look, I found that more and more male adults behave in ways that make our long departed  ancestors  turn in their graves and ask  the  gods to  save  the generation.

Originally, I thought it was some of the people I hang with that are sissies. However, when I took a closer look, I found that more and more male adults behave in ways that make our long departed  ancestors  turn in their graves and ask  the  gods to  save  the generation.

When you hear women complain about men who want to be pampered, it’s exactly that! Many women are literally wearing the pants in the relationship because men are behaving like women! I was recently shocked when one of my buddies (whom I shy away from calling a buddy) sulked and stopped picking my calls. Reason? I didn’t buy him a birthday gift! Days later he sent me a mile long text message accusing me of being a heartless pal. How could you even not send me a birthday card? He asked.   And that came from a 29-year-old father of one.Since when did things like birthdays start being a big deal to men? I think its okay to notice a friend’s birthday and even buy him a drink or two but when it gets to the level of not answering people’s calls just because they didn’t wish you a good day then that’s worrying. Also, these days its common seeing guys walking around holding hands and waists like its normal. I know the cave days are long gone, and looking good really matters but would you blame me for feeling a little uneasy hanging with a guy who spends more time admiring himself in the dressing mirror than his girlfriend? This same chap will excuse himself when you are out to rush home and watch his favourite soap opera! You will find him at the office the following day discussing with his female counterparts about how the next episode will go. Honestly, where I come from, being macho is a big deal. It’s as big as patriotism; it can’t be compromised. To be honest, I’d rather face a grizzly bear than shake hands with a woman trapped in a man’s body. I understand some guys don’t have proper role models and were probably raised in a house full of girls, but that is no excuse. Just be a man! But being a man is more than having muscles or growing a beard! Be responsible. A real man doesn’t whine or nag and doesn’t need to go to the doctor every time he sneezes. A real man will take care of his family and pass on his ancestors’ history and traditions. After mastering the art of being a man…try being a gentleman!
