AMAVUBI FORWARD Dady Birori has agreed a three-year professional move to Switzerland second division tier club Servette FC from DR Congo’s AS Vita Club.Speaking to local media yesterday, Birori said, "I have agreed personal terms and a three-year contract but both teams (AS Vita and Servette) are still in talks over the transfer fee. I hope AS Vita will be cooperative and respond to my wish of playing professional football in Europe.”"Its my dream to play outside Africa and I hope my dream will soon become a reality. I need a fresh and bigger challenge. I have been the top scorer for the last two years in the Congolese league and I want to try my luck elsewhere,” the Rwandan international forward noted. In Kinshasa, Birori, who is known by the nickname ‘Tadygoal’ because of his scoring prowess in the Congolese league, passed trials with Belgium top league club Anderlecht but AS Vita complicated his move as they demanded US$1m yet the Belgian side were willing to pay just a tenth of that. However, he is confident that his move to Servette will improve his career. "I expect to improve my career in the Swiss League.”The former Mukura and Kiyovu striker, who was last summoned by Amavubi team in March when Rwanda hosted Mali in the 2014 World Cup qualifier in Kigali, is expected back in Kinshansa this weekend to hold talks with AS Vita.
