Rapper Bull Dog, one of the best-known hip-hop artistes in the country, is set to launch his first album in November.

The 10-track album will include singles, such as, Kazaroho, Cinema, Liquor na Divayi, Bya Mirenge and Icyuki, among others.

Bull Dog, one of this year’s Primus Guma Guma Superstar contestants, rose to fame in 2008 with his hit single, Umunsi w'Imperuka

The 25-year-old rapper, real name Malik Bertrand Ndayishimiye, is currently balancing his music career with studies at Kigali Independent University (ULK), where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

Speaking about his decision to launch the album, Bull Dog explained, "This is something that I have wanted to do ever since I joined the music scene. It is hard to juggle music and school. But I have to balance them and at the same time fix time to prepare myself for this competition. I have added my vocals to the song and am just waiting for it all to be mixed together.”

Tuff Gangs, Ama G the Black and Riderman are some of the artistes billed to perform at the album launch.

The rapper said that there are many other musicians who are yet to confirm their participation at the concert.

Bull Dog, a member of the Tuff Gangs rap crew comprising of Jay Polly and Fire Man, has over 20 singles to his name.
