Rwandan refs to officiate at CAF Confederation Cup

THE CONFEDERATION of African Football (CAF) has appointed four Rwandan referees to officiate at the group stage game of Confederation Cup between Fus of Morocco and Setif of Algeria.

THE CONFEDERATION of African Football (CAF) has appointed four Rwandan referees to officiate at the group stage game of Confederation Cup between Fus of Morocco and Setif of Algeria.The match slated for August 18 at 19hrs on Complexe Stadium of Rabat in Morocco.Hudu Munyemana will be the centre referee and will be assisted by Honore Simba (first assistant referee), Jean Bosco Niyitegeka (second assistant referee), while Issa Kagabo will be the fourth official.They will travel on August 15, three days before the game. In May this year Munyemana and Simba handled the 1/8 finals of Confederation Cup second leg match between Super Sports of South Africa and ENPPI of Egypt.Also In February, Munyemana was appointed to U-20 African Cup of Nations held in Algeria which was won by Egypt 5-4 on penalties against Ghana after normal time had ended 1-1.
