Ndoli out of Malawi, Benin games

Amavubi Stars first choice goalkeeper Jean-Claude Ndoli has been ruled out of the team’s upcoming engagements against Malawi and Benin through suspension.Rwanda hosts The Flames in an international friendly next week before heading to Porto-Novo to take on Benin in a Group H clash in the 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifiers.According to team manager Alfred Ngarambe, Ndoli accumulated two yellow cards against Mali and Algeria in March and June."He picked up a yellow in the last two World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Algeria which is why the coach has left him out of the upcoming friendly match against Malawi,” said Ngarambe.Because he won’t feature against Benin, Amavubi head coach Eric Nshimiyimana has decided to leave out the experienced APR goalkeeper out of his 21-man squad summoned yesterday to face Malawi in Kigali on Wednesday.The other notable absentee for next week’s game include strikers Meddie Kagere, who  has been left out so that he can concentrate on looking for a new club and Michel Ndahinduka, who is with APR in the on-going EAC Military Games in Nairobi, Kenya.The others are Jean Baptist Mugiraneza and Patrick Sibomana, who are also on club duty with APR.ReturnsNewly signed Police Fc defender Gabriel Mugabo returns to Amavubi fold after three years.
