Musanze have suspended three players for failure to report back for the start of pre-season training, which started a fortnight ago.

Defender Egide Rutayisire, midfielder Jean Shyaka and striker Salim Fundi were each suspended for 60 days without pay, according to assistant coach Maurice Nshimiyimana alias Maso.

"We can’t tolerate any form of indiscipline,” Nshimiyimana told Times Sport on Wednesday.

The Northern Province side, currently in residential training camp in Busogo ahead of the resumption of the league come September 21, is set to play against Etincelles in a pre-season friendly match on Sunday.

Musanze FC, who finished seventh with 36 points last season, started next season’s preparations earlier seeking an improved overall performance in the Primus League.

Over the past few weeks, Musanze have signed six players namely; Bienfait Kabanda from Mukura VS, Innocent Mugabo from Police FC, Arafat Bahame and Lama from Etincelles, Yongo from Espoir FC, and Kidega from second division side Unity.
