Muslims in Kacyiru receive food aid

With less than five days left to the end of this holy month of Ramadhan, UAE Exchange joined hands with UN World Food Programme to feed school children in Africa.

It’s yet again a gesture of kindness from the World’s Trusted Money Transferrer; UAE Exchange-Rwanda joins hands with Xpress Money as they fed the needy Muslims of Kacyiru sector on Friday.

The food distribution took place at Kacyiru Islamic Centre and it was attended by close to 200 people, male, female and children.

The event was initiated with a vision to make maximum people break their day of fasting with a decent meal.

According to Naghoor Riyaz, the UAE Exchange-Rwanda Head of Operations and Business Development, "This was also a gesture of saying thank you to the society for the wonderful support and encouragement.”

Riyaz distribute the food to the needy at the function, which was attended by senior officials of UAE Exchange and the Media.

Yusuf Sulaiman Mugisha, the head Imam of Kacyiru Islamic Center said, "What they have done is recommended in Islam, so we appreciate their good-will gesture and we pray to Allah to reward them accordingly in this holy months of Ramadhan.”
