Rwandan football will be revived once we invest in the youth

Editor,Rwanda needs to start playing with a clear and real tactical plan in mind, otherwise this hit-and-run style of play will never win Rwanda any silverware.Ferwafa should set a kind of masterclass each year for Rwandan first division coaches to enhance their skills in tactics. They should also put emphasis on training youth and lower division clubs’ coaches so that we can have young players who are physically, technically performing and tactically aware. This will help the national coach (whoever he is) to concentrate on the technicalities of the match instead of losing his time trying to teach players how to string five successful passes without failing. It’s not solely a good coach that will make Rwanda a winning team, but a combination of both – players and coach. For me, we should keep Nshimiyimana until the 2015 AfCON.Semugeshi, Brussels, BelgiumReaction to the story, "Nshimiyimana takes failed bid in stride”, (The New Times, July 29)
