All set for schools cricket week

RWANDA Cricket Association is set to organise a boys’ schools cricket week tournament from July 27 to August 3.According to Joshua Mwanja, the Rwanda Cricket Association General Manager, the tournament will attract ten schools which will comprise of 14 players and one cricket teacher each.The schools include; Kagarama secondary school, IPRC Kigali, Lycee de Kigali, Apred, EFOTEC, APADE, Remera Giporoso secondary school, Ruhango secondary school, Saint Joseph and Ami des enfant. The one week event is an annual event on RCA’s calendar purposely held for development and talent identification for the U15, U17 and U19 national teams that present Rwanda in Regional and international tournaments. This tournament will cost about Rwf5 millions. Kagarama secondary school are defending champions.
