NEWLY Primus league entrant Esperance FC is expected to announce Camarade Banamwana as new coach on Friday according to the club chairman Donatien Nsegimana.

According to Nsegimana, Banamwana will sign a two-year contract with the club on Friday and his mission is to help Esperance FC register a comfortable position in next season’s league.

"Banamwana is an experienced coach and we expect him to place the club in good ranking positions next season,”

"We agreed terms with the new coach and what is remaining is to officially sign the contract,” added Nsegimana.

Coach Banamwana said,” I hope to help the team finish in the top eight teams in our first debut of the Primus League,”

The Kimisagara sector-based Esperance FC claimed this year’s second division football league title after beating Gicumbi Fc 2-1 in the finals played in May.

Both Esperance and Gicumbi will replace Etincelles and Isonga who were relegated from last season’s Primus National Football League.

Coach Banamwana led Bugesera into semi-finals of this year’s Peace Cup against Malaria as well as the Second division football league where they were knocked out by AS Muhanga and Gicumbi FC respectively.
