Uganda’s DJ Shiru will storm Kigali on July 27 for the "De Traffic Light Party” at Club Next.

Famed for his electrifying performances, Shiru will keep the energy high at the newly renovated nightclub in Muhima.

"De Traffic Light Party is about the dress code,” said Remmylicious Lubega, the organiser of the event. "We opted for two colours: Red for married couples and those who’re engaged, while the singles will wear green.”

‘We’ve been looking for something very exciting to give to holidaymakers in Kigali and I think we finally found it. This is just the beginning. We have a series of theme nights we plan to introduce in town,” he added.

DJ Shiru will perform alongside DJ Nano, Two 4real and Jodie. Entrance fee is Rwf5, 000 (per person) and the show starts at 8pm.

The 28-year-old has proven to be one of the elite Dancehall and House deejays in Uganda. He is popular for blending his trademark "DJ Shiru” into all the songs he has remixes.

DJ Shiru’s successful projects include Chameleone’s "Vumilia” remix, Blu3’s "Nkaaba Naawe” remix, Aziz Azion’s "Nkuumira Omukwano” remix and many more.
