Rwanda youth national (U19) volleyball team will not contest for the higher positions at the 2013 FIVB Boys’ U19 World Championships in Mexico after losing all their group matches.The debutants lost their last match of group C against the Islamic Republic of Iran 3-0, (25-19, 25-19 and 25-16) on Monday just after the team lost to European defending champion Russia.On Sunday, Rwanda lost to Russia 3-0 (25-13, 25-18, and 25-16), in the other match of Pool C, Iran crushed France in straight sets (25-20, 25-18, and 25-15)."We knew it was going to be a tough competition because it was our first time and we have learned a lot in the tournament, but now we have to focus on height of players."We have to look for young talented players, who have good heights because in this tournament affected us,” coach Jean Marie Nsengiyumva told Times Sport from MexicoIn the opening match, Rwanda lost their opening match against France 3-0 last Thursday and the team was also beaten by Finland 3-2 (25-21, 18-25, 21-25, 25-16, 17-19 in the second match on Saturday.In the next round, China face Chile, Cuba battle Belgium, Iran meet Egypt and Korea go against France, while Tunisia, Japan, Rwanda and Algeria will contest for the 17-20 positions.
