PRIMUS league champions, Rayon Sports are interested in signing APR duo of Jean Claude Iranzi and Jean Baptiste Muriganeza ‘Migi’ and Isonga youngster Patrick Sibomana ‘Papy’ in a bid to strengthen their side ahead of next season’s campaign. An inside source who preferred to remain anonymous told Times Sport yesterday that the club’s priority signings are Mugiraneza, Iranzi and Sibomana in the upcoming months such that they can embark on next season assignments which include Cecafa Kagame Cup and Champions League without any hindrances."We have taken the decision to sign these three players and many others but first priority has been given to the recruitment team to get these three signatures as soon as possible,” he said. However, the club’s Secretary General Olivier Gakwaya never admitted or denied the development but noted that the club’s first move is to renew contracts for some of their players which will expire in June."The team will retain all players but it will depend on the choice of the coach. For Migi, Iranzi and Sibomana, we are yet to discuss about them.”"We have not even talked to them or their clubs. We need first to deal with our own players whose contracts are running out on the coach’s demand,” added Gakwaya.Rayon Sport were crowned champions last weekend as league champions for the first time in nine years.Bralirwa gave the Blues Rwf10m for winning the league and Rayon Sport will now represent Rwanda in the CAF champions’ league and the Cecafa cup next year.
