Through the Coaches Placement Program (CPP), tennis has stepped up training for the juniors as one way of increasing the number of players in the country.

Juniors between the ages from 10-18 are currently benefiting from the program under the auspices of the RTF (Rwanda Tennis Federation) professional coaches at different courts in Kigali.

Training is being conducted at Cercle Sportif Club de Kigali, Nyarutarama Tennis club courts, Novotel Hotel and at the Amahoro tennis courts.

According to RTF technical director and program coordinator Thierry Ntwali, the program is designed to upgrade the tennis standards amongst the juniors as well as keeping them in shape.

Since its induction back in 2005, the program has registered over three hundred participants in the country and includes fun programs, tennis lessons, graduated equipment-lessons about tennis equipments and leagues.
