After two successful editions in Kigali and Nairobi, Zuby comedy has organised another edition for comedy enthusiasts in Bujumbura with different comedians headlining this comedy show slated for Sunday, August 6, at Donatus Conference Center, Kinindo.

The comedy show will see local and international comedians headlining, like Zuby comedy, Nyaxo, Mitsutsu, Fred Rufendeke, MCA Tricky and Mutima comedians.

Talking to The New Times, Samson Mucyo revealed that the duo was honored by the love they received in Kenya by 3,000 people who attended there show as well as when they impressed revelers at this show in Rwanda at Kigali Convention and Exhibition Village (former Camp Kigali). This motivated them to bring this initiative to every East African country and have fun together.

"We are excited that it is finally happening, we normally receive so much love from Burundians, it is fair that we bring comedy to them and promise them a fun filled experience. They should be ready for fun as we have prepared a special event that embodies different comedy related segments that we cannot wait for them to finally see,” said Sam.

Rwandans who wish to travel to Bujumbura for the comedy event, Sam said, are required to pay Rwf120, 000 per person and Rwf150, 000 for a couple. The fee will cover their accommodation as well as festival tickets from August 4-6.

Zuby Comedy the duo of Samson Mucyo and Seka Nshizirungu, commonly known as Seth and Samu, performed at different comedy shows over the years including the third edition of "Kigali International Comedy Festival” in 2019, alongside other local and international comedians. Mostly known for their comedy show dubbed ‘Miss Umulenge’, they joined the comedy scene in 2019.
