A new month has started and being the first Friday of the month, a lot of partying is expected around the country. Here is a selection of events happening this weekend for you to choose from.Fly K-Team @ Aberdeen HouseIt’s been a while since we last had an event organised by K-Team. Today they are back and they’ve come with SKYY Vodka, as it will be launched at Aberdeen House in Kagugu this evening.At the party, you can enjoy drinks from the fully stocked Aberdeen Bar and indulge in an exotic, designer cocktail made with SKYY Vodka or deliciously fruity SKYY infusions from the special SKYY Cocktail bar.K-Team’s Makeda and DJ Karim will be the chief entertainers as you enjoy the drinks, music and good time.Entrance is Rwf 5,000 and it begins at 9pm. Dresscode: Cocktail Attire Bac-T and Tru-D @ MuhangaHip-hop fans in Muhanga are in for a treat today as Bac-T and Tru-d performe at Ahazaza Center in Muhanga town.The show dubbed ‘Dream Night Show season II’ is meant to show case music on their upcoming album, ‘Reality Check’.They will be joined by Sergeant Robert, Bull Dogg, Pacson, Babra, Sasha, Clovis and Lil G. Entrance is Rwf 1,000 and the show starts at 4pm.Cinco de Mayo celebrations @ InemaJoin people of different cultures tonight at the Cinco de Mayo Party (Spanish for "fifth of May”). The party that will be held at Inema Arts Centre in Kacyiru will also have plenty of Mexican food, tequila, and flowing margaritas from Meze Fresh. Expect a lot of jewelry and Art exhibitions. There will also be live music and a DJ. It starts at 6pm.Pubs and RestaurantsSome of you would love to sit down and have a quiet weekend at places with family and friends for a meal or a few drinks. The good thing about most of these places is that they play some nice music that can take you through the whole night.If you feel like catching some quick food, drop by Kinamba and you’ll find KGL Fast Food. There, you can get some burgers and pizzas and later on catch some drinks while listening to music. It’s a good place to hang.With your family and friends, you can visit Cozy and Orange courts located in Kacyiru. Chapter One, Ogopogo, and Sundowner, all are located in Kimihurura, have in-house DJs who play music till dawn and you can have food and breakfast at the same venues. Africa Bite is another beautiful restaurant in the neighborhood and it serves a wide range of African food. Those in Kicukiro can join DJ Gomez at Stone House just after Sonatube as he’ll be playing the best of today’s’ music.Football fans can also catch this weekend big game between Manchester United and Arsenal action at the Royal Car wash in Kimihurura, Kigali Casino (Happy Hour 6pm-8pm) and Dugout in Kisementi. Night ClubsThere are many night clubs to party and dance all night but we shall select a few of them that suit this weekend. Golemi at Lemigo Hotel in Kimihurura, Planet Club at KBC, Black and White at Alpha Palace Hotel in Remera, and Legacy at Hotel Mille Collines, are some of the night clubs you should try out this weekend.

K Club in Nyarutarama will have Oldies night tomorrow. As usual, entrance is Rwf 5,000 and Rwf 10,000 in the ordinary and VIP sections, respectively.
