Journalists commemorate Genocide

The Media High Council has managed to identify about 53 journalists who were killed during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The number was made public by Emmanuel Mugisha, the Acting Executive Secretary of Media High Council on Thursday,  as journalists remembered their colleagues killed during the Genocide.

The Media High Council has managed to identify about 53 journalists who were killed during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The number was made public by Emmanuel Mugisha, the Acting Executive Secretary of Media High Council on Thursday,  as journalists remembered their colleagues killed during the Genocide.Dr Alvera Mukabaramba, the State Minister in charge of Community Development and Social Affairs in the Ministry of Local Government, urged Rwandan journalists to air peacefully oriented messages that not only to help in uniting Rwandans but also contribute towards the development of the country.
