Dream Boys and Knowless have released a video of Baramponda, a captivating song, from one of the country’s leading music groups. The song is from the fourth album of Platini Nemeye and Claude Mujyanama with some lyrics written by Knowless, whose vocals feature in the track.

It is instrumentally complete with heavy beats and "rushing” synthesisers.

Nemeye told The New Times that the video was shot from different places in Kigali and some scenes at Urban Hotel.

Baramponda is a song that talks about the ‘pursuit of love’. Loving someone no matter what other people talk about them.

The song contains fast tempo style in Afrobeat and Zouk. Arthur Nkusi, a comedian and KFM’s journalist, described the song as a ‘good track’.

"Baramponda is a nice song. The production was great too and the combination of Dream Boys and Knowless also contribute to the track,” Nkusi said.

Knowless and Dream Boys are among 11 finalists competing in Primus Guma Guma SuperStar season three. This year’s winner will walk away with a cool Rwf24 million.

The first edition was held in 2011 and was won by Tom Close, while in the second season King James was crowned the winner.
