The Rwanda Kungfu Federation plans to organise a ‘Never Again’ tournament from June 8-10, according to the federation’s vice chairman Ahmed Habineza.Speaking to Times Sport on Monday, Habineza said they are travelling across the country to see if they can find details about kungfu players, officials or fans, who were killed during the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi.According to information from the Karate federation, two high profile persons were killed during the Genocide have been identified. They include, the co-founder of the sport in country, only known by one single name of Vianney and a one Karangwa.Habineza, who is competing for the post of the Secretary General of Rwanda National Olympic Committee against the incumbent Parfait Busabizwa, said the three-day tournament is set to attract ten teams which will all be vying for individual and team awards."We hope to have good competition because all teams have been preparing in detail,” he added.  The contenders will compete in the men’s and women’s categories. It will be the first time the Kungfu federation will be organising a tournament of this kind.The 3-day tournament will attract teams namely; Kimisagara Hung-Li Club, Mask de la Paux, Issa Club, Taich Club, Musanze Shaolin, Rubavu Shaolin Temple, Muhanga Kung-fu Club, National University of Rwanda Kung-fu Club, Wush Kungfu Club and Nyanza Shaolin Temple.
