Tigo has unveiled a new promotion where subscribers who activate their BlackBerry Internet Services (BIS) plan will be rewarded with a complimentary subscription of the equivalent value.

The promotion will run for two weeks until April 14, the telecom firm said in a statement. 

It added that the BlackBerry solution allows easy wireless access to email, business and lifestyle applications.

"To enjoy the promotion, prepaid subscribers will choose to subscribe to either a weekly or monthly BIS plan by dialing *347#,” it said.

With the promotion, Tigo expects its clientele to enjoy more freedom and productivity benefits of using BlackBerry smartphones. 

"Tigo customers will now be able to enjoy the freedom and productivity benefits of using BlackBerry smartphones to stay connected to the people that matter most, and access all the information they need. 

"With these offers, more customers can enjoy the exceptional experience offered by BlackBerry smartphones…. Tigo brings the BlackBerry solution to Rwandans at affordable rates,” Pierre Kayitana, the Tigo public relations manager, said.
