Zimbabwe’s and two-time Big Brother UK housemate, Makosi Musambasi is appearing on the list of several other popular faces, who auditioned to take part in the upcoming season eight of Big Brother Africa. Makosi has been listed on the Big Brother Africa Facebook page together with Ugandan artistes Desire Luzinda and Jackie Tusiime, South Africa’s controversial socialite Kanyi Mbau, Ghana’s Vera Sidika and musician Sarkodie, Nigeria’s music sensation Iyanya of Kukere fame and Dammy Krane, Kenya’s Shaffie Weru and Oj Oballa.According to the page, producers of the show are yet to decide on bringing back celebrity housemates.However, Makosi has denied auditioning for Big Brother Africa. In an interview, she said it was suicidal to enter the show and that Big Brother "does not feature in my master plan”."When I want to commit suicide, I will audition for Big Brother,” she said.Despite being spotted queuing for auditions, Makosi gave incoherent statements regarding the issue. At first she claimed she had gone to the Rainbow Towers to have breakfast before making a U-turn saying she was out of the country on the day of the auditions.According to figures released by M-Net Africa which screens Big Brother, the show hit one million likes on Facebook indicating the show’s growing popularity. Big Brother Africa Season 8 is scheduled to start on May 26.
