Editor, This letter is with reference to your article titled "Frequent power interruptions a threat to our aspirations” published in The New Times on March 23.Please allow me to share with your esteemed readers that India Week 2013 will bring investors in the energy sector to Rwanda. As mentioned in one of my earlier letters, India will surely partner with Rwanda for the long term.My country is committed to enhancing trade, tourism and investments into Rwanda. India Week, scheduled to be held from 24 to 30 May, 2013, will bring in businessmen and investors from as many as six to seven leading Chambers of Commerce and Industry who will look forward to meeting their counterparts from the Rwanda Private Sector Federation as well as officials from the Rwanda Development Board and from the concerned Government Departments to explore avenues for suitable investments and collaborations.Energy is a key factor for any development programme and Indian companies will assist the new Rwanda in her quest for excellence.Clarence Fernandes
