Manchester City's Yaya Toure celebrates his goal against Chelsea during their English Premier League soccer match at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, Northern England.

Manchester City’s star midfielder Yaya Toure has threatened to quit unless he’s given a new deal by this weekend, according to The Sun."The Ivorian midfielder is fuming that talks over a new deal have stalled for SIX months,” the paper reports, claiming that the 29-year-old - City’s best-paid player - will walk off into the sunset when his contract ends in May.Agent Dimitri Seluk apparently told the paper: "If he signs a contract in the next three or four days, OK. If not, we will not wait any longer and will start negotiations with different clubs.”In what is almost certainly a bit of agent fantasy in order to drive a bargain, Seluk tried to reinforce the idea that the £220,000-a-week Toure wants to go:"I do not feel he will stay at City. This is not about money. He wants to leave because of many reasons,” he added. "He is one of the best players at Manchester City but does not feel the respect of the staff. Only Roberto Mancini respects Yaya.”Agencies
