Editor,This is in reaction to the story, "Is the post office still relevant today?” (The New Times, March 16).Post Office is and shall remain the most secure mail delivery system. We should learn from developed countries like the United Kingdom, United States, Germany and Canada where post office is considered to be a reliable, secure and efficient way of mail delivery. The numerous transport agencies in the courier business will always come and go but the post office shall always remain.Hassan, Kigali

------------------------------------The Post office is still the most reliable and utilised means of sending parcels and letters worldwide. What is required is for it to modernise its operation model in the country. ICT is a tool that compliments it. In fact, it makes the Post Office work efficiently. The major hindrance in Rwanda is the proliferation of unregulated competitors who attract clients as they are often quick in delivery. In a nutshell, the National Post Office has no choice but to bring its systems up to date. JB, Kigali
