Editor, This is with reference to the article titled " President Kagame urges long - term partnership.” (The New Times, March 17).My country, India, does hold a very special relationship with Rwanda. We are always eager and ready to support this great nation whether it involves casting a vote in her favour at the United Nations General Assembly or even just enhancing lines of credit to facilitate trade and commerce, between the two countries. Please allow me to share with your esteemed readers that from among the many business delegates I have brought into Rwanda over the last one year, we have one very enthusiastic individual who, after returning to Mumbai, has been actually conducting regular "English language " classes through Skype to assist friends in Rwanda in mastering the English language. There is also another investor who will soon make Rwanda his "second home”.Yet another Indian  investor is gearing up to launch a US$35 million health resort project in the Western Province , during India Week 2013 , which will be held from 24 to 30 May, 2013.All these markers clearly indicate that India will surely partner with Rwanda for the long term. The resilience, warmth and friendliness of the people of Rwanda, will take Indo-Rwandan partnerships to great heights.Clarence Fernandes
