Latest figures, released by the Rwanda Biomedical Centre last month, indicated a seven per cent increase in alcohol consumption in the country over the past decade.

The Ministry of Health has since launched a fresh campaign ‘Tunyweless, championed by health minister Dr Sabin Nsanzimana, to encourage the public, especially youth, to moderate their drinking patterns.
