Gone are days when all business joints and nightspots close as early as 8:00pm. Taxes could stop operating at the same time making it very difficult for people to keep in business.

Things are changing and business operations can go on all the night. This was after Kigali city council permitted all business people to keep working for 24 hours.

The move was timely as some young people who used to seek a more thrilling week-end in neighbouring countries can now get the mother of it here in Kigali.

A number of entertaining joints (bars and barbeques) are hence mushrooming and Kigali is real hot. Apart from sports bars and barbeques, there are also other entertaining joints, like Bourbon coffee shops and Karaoke bar which equally attract a sea of people.

Every weekend, in these entertainment joints, throngs of revelers, come to watch live performances, dance and also jazz with friends while killing the stress of the previous week.
