Parents of pupils at Ecole Primary School, Nyabuko, in Ngoma Sector, Rulindo district, have appealed to authorities to repair the road connecting to the school. Telesphore Balinda, the head of the school’s parent’s committee, said the road affects their children whenever it rains. He made the remarks while receiving rain water reservoirs donated by Rwanda Stiftung, an international organsation in collaboration with Rhénanie Palatinat Rwanda. Fidele Murwanashaka, the head teacher, said they have more than 400 pupils in both nursery and primary school. The Executive Secretary of Ngoma sector, Eugene Birahira, acknowledged the problem and said the district has included the road in this year’s infrastructure development.
