KIGALI SERENA HOTEL will on Friday evening reverberate to the sounds of both modern and traditional music when one of the country’s music darlings, Knowless, launches her new album "Uwo ndiwe” at the hotel. The singer’s concert on March 8 is not one to miss as it promises surprises and incredible musical performances by talented artistes.Knowless’ efforts on the evening will be ably complemented by local musicians, Christopher, Tom Close, Aline Gahongayire, Intore Masamba and Maria Yohana Mukankuranga. Ugandan superstar Jose Chameleon is also set to perform alongside the Rwandan beauty and contribute to the verve of the evening.Speaking to The New Times, Knowless, born Jeanne Butera, said her second album "Uwondiwe” comprises of 10 singles including some of her latest songs, "Ubuntu” and "Rejoice”. Knowless, who seems to be on a mission to revamp her music career after she was recently appointed MTN’s Ambassador and selected at this year’s Primus’ Guma Guma Superstar music competition, promises her fans an evening of surprises and thrilling live performances.The show starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are sold at Rwf5000 and Rwf10.000 (if you want a CD).Knowless will no doubt give it her best. The 22-year-old singer, who recently mesmerised her Ugandan fans at Club Rouge in Kampala, is slowly becoming a music icon – revered for both her music and her persona.Some of her hit songs include, "Byemere”, "Ndamburiraho ibiganza”, "Ibidashoboka” and "Warurihe”.
